How hiring, payments, and questions work on CASHBOX Task.
- Post your task with a description and budget, then verified local operators send you offers with their price and approach. Compare their ratings and offers, accept the one you like, and fund the job into escrow. The operator is paid once you approve the completed work.
- When you accept an offer you fund the job into escrow, where the money is held on trust in a dedicated New Zealand NZD client trust account by CASHBOX Pay. The operator only gets paid once you confirm the work is done, and if there's a dispute the funds are paused until it's resolved. Payments are made bank-to-bank via open banking, so there are no card details and no chargebacks.
- Yes. Every task has a public Questions & Answers section. Signed-in operators can ask questions about the task and the person who posted it answers, so everyone can see the clarifications. To keep things safe and on-platform, questions and answers are text-only - no photos - and can't include contact details like phone numbers, email addresses or links.
